Borromean Gulf
Situated half-way down the lake, the Borromean Gulf with its history and unique beauty is one of the most picturesque locations in the whole of the area. The bay is famous all over the world for its historic hotels dating from the early 20th century, its magnificent villas and other buildings overlooking the panoramic central part of Lake Maggiore.
