We embark in Stresa (or, upon request, from one of the nearby towns) heading to Arona. Navigating along the Lombardy coast of the lake,we reach Luino. There's a brief stop here to enjoy the typical and colorful market.
We move then towards Cannero Riviera, circumnavigating the islands. We stop here there's for a chance to eat either in the historic town centre or along the lake's shore.
Our cruise continues up to Pallanza, with a brief stop to admire the monument dedicated to General Cadorna and to visit the church of Saint Leonardo. We then head back to Stresa for the disembarkment.

Heading towards the Swiss gulf of Lake Maggiore, in the Alto Verbano zone, ther are two small rocky islands, pretty close to the shore, that testify the historic presence of the Borromeo family. In fact, on these two small islands the remains of of the rocca Vitalian are still visible.
Lying on the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore, Cannero has a Mediterranean climate with verdant vegetation that is perfect for its cedars, lemon trees, olive trees, mimosa and laurel. Cannerois home to the Camellia Society and organises the famous “Camellia exhibition”, in various areas on Lake Maggiore.
