ISOLA PESCATORI: Isola dei Pescatori is known for the ancient trade of fishing, the work of the inhabitants who still live there today. Here you can walk through the typical hamlet, with its atmospheric little alleyways and ancient houses built around the church of San Vittore.
Its restaurants offer the typical dishes of our lake: hot and cold Antipasto di Lago, rainbow trout, perch fillets and mixed grilled freshwater fish.
ISOLA BELLA: Right in front of Stresa, Isola Bella is famous for its castle, purchased by Charles BorromeoIII and dedicated to his bride, Countess Isabella D’Adda.
The Palace's opulency, the gardens and the terraces, the theatre and the mysterious grottos dedicated to marine animals and flowers, the music room and the marble room make this building a rare beauty well worth a visit, a trasure chest of Art and Culture.
