Isola dei Pescatori is known for the ancient trade of fishing, the work of the inhabitants who still live there today. Here you can walk through the typical hamlet, with its atmospheric little alleyways and ancient houses built around the church of San Vittore.
Its restaurants offer the typical dishes of our lake: hot and cold Antipasto di Lago, rainbow trout, perch fillets and mixed grilled freshwater fish. Today it is a very popular tourist destination for groups and families, as well as school and church trips, which visit the old hamlet and the parish church, a place of interest for all those who want to visit the islands of Lake Maggiore.
