Isola Madre, located in the centre of theBorromean Gulf, is the largest of the islands on Lake Maggiore.
The thing that first strikes approaching visitors is the 16th century villa, one of the first residences of the Borromeo counts on the lake.
Isola Madre and its garden offer you the chance to immerse yourself in nature. The grounds are filled with colours and flowers, like rhododendrons, magnolias, azaleas and others from all over the world. Pheasants, peacocks and other colourful birds roam freely in the garden.

Animals on board - Well behaved dogs and cats are welcome on board but they cannot be admitted to the Islands' Palaces and Gardens
